TIGA is creating contractual template terms for the games industry.
The first stage of this process was completed in June 2004. This resulted in template terms for calculating royalties, together with a handbook explaining the relevant issues.
Stage 2 involved the creation of the first Model Contract for Publishing and Developing Interactive Entertainment Works (and its associated handbook). The first draft was completed and published by TIGA in 2006.
Stage 3 involves the creation of a model contract for outsourcing agreements, due to be published in 2007.
